A cool place with trails, boating, picnic spots, and quiet space

Went here to look at birds and reptiles. The people were very nice. We walked around a little and learned a lot about birds and reptiles.
The place is nice, but the equipment they rent out can be faulty and the staff knows it. They told us the chain on the pedal boat might pop and we should use the whistle to get help. It did pop less than 15 minutes into our rental. Almost 15 minutes later, the rude girl from the office with another helper came to pick us up and instead of fixing the chain as we were told they would do, claiming our time was over. I was in no mood to argue with teenagers who didn't seem to want to be there in the first place, and left the place disappointed penn state couldn't hire professional staff or train these students to deal with customers better. Its not like the rentals were free or even cheap compared to other places!
Lots of trails. Lake for kayaking and fishing. Large visitors center with reptile terrarium and aviary center with birds of prey.
